Continuation of Compensation Schemes Act, 1946 (Amendment) Bill, 1949—Second Stage.

I move that this Bill be now read a Second Time. It is to enable rates of compensation to be fixed for those people who suffered injuries arising out of bomb explosions or mine explosions or, in the case of civilians, arising from some other cause. Originally, there was an Emergency Powers Order.
