Vol. 117 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Amending Road Traffic Act.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he has received a resolution passed at the Annual General Meeting of the Irish Association for the Prevention of Intemperance; and if he can say whether and, if so, when he hopes to be in a position to introduce the proposals for legislation to amend the Road Traffic Act contemplated by the resolution.

I have received a copy of the resolution referred to. Proposals for amendment of the Road Traffic Act are under consideration but I am not yet in a position to indicate when the amending Bill will be introduced.
