asked the Minister for Local Government whether he will state (1) how many houses have been completed and handed over to the Dublin Corporation for occupation during the half-year ended 30th June, 1949; (2) how many houses, qualifying for Government grant, were completed in Dublin City area by private individuals during the same period; and (3) how many houses, qualifying for Government grant, were completed in Dublin County Council area by private individuals during the same period.

The particulars asked for are as follows:—(1) The number of dwellings completed and handed over to the Dublin Corporation during the half-year ended 30th June, 1949, was 631. (2) The numbers of completed houses in respect of which Government grants were paid to private individuals during the half-year period ended 30th June, 1949, were 102 in Dublin City and 355 in Dublin County.
