Vol. 117 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state why the Koe estate, Youghalarra, Nenagh, County Tipperary, has not been acquired by the Land Commission for distribution among local uneconomic holders, and if he is aware that the estate has now been advertised for sale notwithstanding the fact that there is a great demand for land among uneconomic holders in the district.

As there is little or no congestion in the area, the Land Commission decided to take no action for the present for the acquisition of these lands.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state when the Land Commission intends to vest the Sadlier estate at Ballydoyle, Rosegreen, Fethard, County Tipperary, in the present holders.

The lands of Ballydoyle refer to the O'Shea estate and of the 21 allotments on it 14 have been vested in the allottees. It is not possible to state when the remainder will be disposed of.
