Vol. 117 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Shrone New School (Kerry).

asked the Minister for Education if he will state when the building of a new school at Shrone, County Kerry, will start.

The Department has sanctioned a grant towards the cost of the new school at Shrone. The arrangements for the erection of the building are in the hands of the Commissioners of Public Works. I understand from them that the working drawings and specifications will shortly be prepared and that they expect to be in a position to invite tenders in the near future. When a tender has been accepted the actual work of building should commence without appreciable delay.
