Vol. 118 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Exports of Whiskey.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether distilling is restricted by Government Order; and, if so, whether he will permit a relaxation which would enable distilleries to manufacture and export to the United States and other hard currency areas greater quantities of Irish whiskey.

There is at present no Government Order limiting the quantity of whiskey that may be distilled.
