Vol. 118 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Housing Scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether the proposed housing scheme for Foxrock, Cabinteely and Cornelscourt districts has been sanctioned; if so, whether he will state when work will commence and whether he has received any objections to the development of the scheme.

Sites in these areas have been included by the Dublin County Council in a compulsory purchase Order, to which objections have been made by the owners of the sites and other interested parties. A public local inquiry in the matter will be held on the 7th instant. Until the inquiry is held and the evidence considered I will not be in a position to indicate the probable date of commencement of these schemes.
