Vol. 118 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Cork Sub-Post Offices.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he will consider establishing sub-post offices at Kilmurry, Firmount, Kerry Pike and Shanbally.

The establishment of sub-offices at Kilmurry, Kerry Pike and Shanbally is being considered in connection with a general revision of postal services in Cork which is at present in hands.

As regards Firmount, it is found that the amount of postal business likely to be transacted would not justify the expense of the establishment and maintenance of an office there.
