Vol. 118 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kerry School.

asked the Minister for Education whether he is aware of the delay in appointing a contractor for the erection of a national school at Cullina, Beaufort, County Kerry, and whether he is now in a position to make a definite statement in the matter.

The arrangements for the erection of a new school at Cullina are in the hands of the Commissioners of Public Works. I am advised by the commissioners that there was no avoidable delay in inviting tenders for the erection of the school, that the tenders have been received and are under consideration, and that it is hoped to place a contract at an early date.
