Vol. 118 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Speed Limit in Built-Up Areas.

Mr. A. Byrne

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware that the Bray Urban District Council made an application last year for the imposition of a speed limit of 30 miles per hour in all built up areas, and that an inquiry was held as a result; and, if so, whether he will now state the result of his consideration of the report of the inquiry and when a decision may be expected.

I am not so aware. The Bray Urban District Council asked for a speed limit in their own area and I hope to give a decision very shortly.
