Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Newcastle Sanatorium Works.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state in respect of each of the years ended 31st March, 1947, 1948, 1949, and 1950 (to date): (1) the value of proposals for new works submitted by the Committee of Management of the Royal National Hospital for Consumption, Newcastle, to the Hospitals Commission, (2) the amount of grants from the Hospitals Trust Fund applied for in respect of these works, (3) the amount of grants recommended by the Hospitals Commission in respect of these proposals, (4) the amount approved by the Minister in each case, (5) the amount of grants sanctioned by the Minister for Local Government and Public Health and/or the Minister for Health, as the case may be, in respect of these works, (6) the date on which tenders were invited for the work covered by each proposal, (7) the date on which the works were actually begun, (8) the date on which they were completed, (9) the amount of the final account for the works, and (10) the grants paid from the Hospitals Trust Fund.

I am having the information requested by the Deputy collected and I hope to be able to furnish the particulars required next week if the Deputy will be good enough to repeat the question then.
