Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cork Regional Sanatorium.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state (a) whether tenders have been invited for works to be carried out on the site of the proposed regional sanatorium in cork; (b) the final date for the receipt of tenders; (c) the nature of the documents and drawings issued to prospective tenderers; (d) whether these included schedules of quantities; (e) whether they will be made available for inspection in the Oireachtas Library, and (f) the date upon which it is expected a decision will be taken upon the tenders received.

(a) Yes; (b) 26th November, 1949; (c) draft agreement, conditions of contract, detailed specification, instructions for tendering, form of tender (including schedule of basic prices), schedule of rates and 25 sheets of detailed drawings; (d) no; (e) yes, except the drawings which, by reason of their bulk, it would be inconvenient to file in the Library but which can be made available for inspection at any reasonable time to suit the convenience of the Deputy; (f) I hope to be in a position to make a decision shortly.
