Vol. 118 No. 16

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Stradbally Water and Sewerage Scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state whether any proposals have been received from the Waterford County Council in connection with the Stradbally water and sewerage scheme; and, if not, whether he will ask the council to submit any proposals they have in connection with the scheme.

Outline proposals for the provision of water supply and sewerage at Stradbally were submitted by the County Council in 1948. The water supply proposals were approved in principle; in the case of the sewerage scheme, further technical reports were asked for. In each case responsibility for further action rests with the County Council. I will have the Deputy's representations conveyed to them.
