Committee on Finance. - Air Navigation and Transport Bill—Money Resolution.

I move:—

That, for the purpose of any Act of the present Session to amend and extend the Air Navigation and Transport Acts, 1936 to 1946, to vest certain lands in the Minister for Industry and Commerce, to provide for the payment of subsidies to Aer Rianta, Teoranta, and to provide for other matters connected with the matters aforesaid, it is expedient to authorise:—

(1) the payment of subsidies to Aer Rianta, Teoranta, on such terms and conditions as may be specified by the Minister for Finance;

(2) the payment where appropriate of interest at the rate of 3 per cent. per annum on the amount of compensation payable in respect of the compulsory acquisition of any land or any water right or in respect of the compulsory use of any water right, from the date of acquisition until payment of such compensation;

(3) the payment of compensation, as may be determined, to any person whose estate or interest is injuriously affected by certain provisions of this Act;

(4) the payment out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas of the expenses incurred by the Minister for Industry and Commerce in the administration of such Act; and

(5) the waiving of such fees as would normally be payable in respect of any proceedings in the Land Registry arising out of the vesting in the Minister for Industry and Commerce of certain lands.
