Vol. 119 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Forestry Workers' Wages.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will indicate the outcome of recent discussions between the Federation of Rural Workers and officials of Government Departments on the question of forestry workers' wages.

The position is as I indicated in reply to a similar question last week.

I would like to know from the Minister when we are going to get some information on this matter, about which I have asked at least 20 questions in the past nine months. I have not got any satisfactory reply up to now, but have been told on each occasion that it is being given consideration. When are we going to get definite information about it?

I would say in the near future.

That is the old story.
