The question of the provision of additional creamery facilities in the Ahakista area is a matter for the Drinagh Co-operative Creamery, Limited, as Ahakista lies directly between the Kilcrohane and Durrus separating stations operated by that creamery society and is remote from any other separating station or creamery.
