The object of the Irish Potato Marketing Company is to develop the export market in both seed and ware potatoes; its function will be to seek markets abroad, to negotiate contracts, to arrange and effect shipments, to handle all exports, to pay licensed potato merchants, and generally to co-operate in every way with my officers in developing the export trade in potatoes in the interest of the growers of that crop.
