Vol. 120 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Caherciveen Water Supply.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether official sanction has yet been given to the proposal submitted to his Department by the Secretary, Kerry County Council, for the carrying out of the Caherciveen water scheme; and, further, if he will state when the work is likely to commence.

Approval was given in August last to the invitation of tenders for the Caherciveen water supply scheme, but I have not yet received any proposals from the local authority with regard to the acceptance of a tender. I am not, therefore, in a position to forecast when work on the scheme is likely to commence.
