Foynes sewerage scheme is still in a preliminary stage. Suggestions for the revision of the scheme proposed by the consultant were conveyed to the sanitary authority in February last, and a further report is awaited.
As regards Bruree water supply scheme, approval was given in December last to the plans and specification; the bill of quantities and details of the reinforcement of the water tower are, however, still outstanding.
