Vol. 120 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Letterkenny Post Office.

Mr. Blaney

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state (i) what steps have been taken, to date, by his Department to provide a much-needed new post office building in Letterkenny; (ii) whether a site has yet been purchased, and (iii) when building work is expected to commence.

Negotiations for the acquisition of a site for a new post office building at Letterkenny have been completed and arrangements for the legal transfer are now in hand. It is not possible to say at this stage when building work is likely to commence.
