Vol. 121 No. 5

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Cow Parks and Milk Shortage.

asked the Minister for Lands if he has received representations for or on behalf of the cottiers in certain areas in County Westmeath with regard to the provision of cow parks, and whether it is proposed to take any steps to remedy the shortage of milk experienced by many people in this and similar areas.

Representations have been received on behalf of the cottiers in certain areas in County Westmeath for the provision of cow parks. The representations have been noted for considerations in the event of land becoming available in these areas.

Could the Parliamentary Secretary arrange that representations of that kind, made in writing to the Minister or to the Land Commission, would be acknowledged in writing?

I will convey that request.
