asked the Taoiseach if he will state at what price home-produced unsalted butter was sold in the markets in County Wexford during the last two weeks of May in the years 1947, 1948, 1949 and 1950.

The precise information required by the Deputy is not available, but the average prices per lb. of farmers' butter at Wexford market in each of the last two weeks of May were, respectively: 1947, 2/9 and 2/10; 1948, 2/9 and 2/9; 1949, 2/6 and 2/5; 1950, 2/4 and 2/1.
