Vol. 122 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Quality of Butter.

asked the Minister for Agriculture whether he is aware that numerous complaints are being made as to the quality of the butter at present being released at the enhanced price of 3/6 per lb.; and, if so, if he will give an assurance that those complaints will be investigated and the cause eliminated if they are found to be well founded.

I am not aware that there have been any complaints regarding the quality of unrationed creamery butter.

Why can the Minister not account for the complaints to which the Deputy refers?

Manifestly I cannot account for what I am not aware of.
