Vol. 123 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Public Works.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he is aware of the urgent necessity for the erection of a footbridge on Emlaghmore River adjoining the townlands of Emlaghmore, Cloon, Meelignuleen and Reenroe; and, if so, if he will allocate the necessary grant for the carrying through of the work at the earliest possible date.

I shall have the proposal in question examined and let the Deputy know the result in due course.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he is aware of the very bad condition of the bog road at Michael Cronin's, Clahananoe, Ballinskelligs, which connects with the bog road leading through James Currin's land at Cools and caters for 30 tenants, and whether he is now prepared to sanction the allocation of a grant for the carrying through of the scheme for its renovation.

Apart from this question, I have had no representations in recent years regarding this case, but I shall now have inquiries made and let the Deputy know the result.
