Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Meath Motor Registrations.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the number of motor vehicles registered in County Meath in the year 1949-50, and the total of road tax and drivers' licences collected in respect of them.

The number of mechanically-propelled vehicles under current licence in County Meath on the 10th August, 1949, was 4,561. The total amount collected in respect of motor vehicle duties and drivers' licences in the year 1949-50 was approximately £69,200.
