asked the Minister for Health if he will cause an immediate inspection to be made of the national school at Killavilla, Roscrea, County Offaly, and ascertain whether it is a proper building for the teaching of children and whether it is a serious menace to the public health of the area.

The existing school at Killavilla was inspected in July last. The school is regarded as overcrowded and insanitary and I have recommended to the Minister for Education that a new school should be built to replace it. I understand that the erection of this school has been approved by him.
