Vol. 123 No. 8

- Dublin Housing and Sanitary Accommodation.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware that there is no sanitary accommodation for a number of houses in Blackhorse Avenue, Dublin, and whether in view of the danger to public health due to the fact that sewerage from dry lavatories is deposited in back gardens in this built-up area, he will take steps to ensure that suitable sanitary accommodation is made available to the residents of these houses.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware that there is no water supply laid on to about 20 houses in Black-horse Avenue, Dublin and if he will take steps to compel the Dublin Corporation to have this situation remedied.

With your permission, a Chinn Chomhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 88 and 89 together.

I am having inquiries regarding these matters addressed to the Dublin Corporation, which is the sanitary authority concerned, and shall communicate with the Deputy in due course.
