Vol. 123 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Industrial Development Authority Proposals.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state on how many occasions he has accepted in principle proposals made to him by the Industrial Development Authority, but has subsequently been unable to obtain sanction from the Department of Finance for the expenditure of the necessary moneys.

It would be contrary to practice to give information of this kind.

Can the Parliamenttary Secretary enlighten the House as to whether such a refusal of sanction took place on any occasion?

I told the Deputy it would be contrary to practice to give the information.

Even as to whether in fact it ever happened? I am not asking for details.
