Vol. 123 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kerry Housing.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware of the urgent necessity for the carrying through of housing schemes at Milltown and at Rathmore in County Kerry and whether he is in a position to make a statement in the matter.

I understand that the new houses needed to be provided under the Labourers Acts in Milltown and Rathmore are 12 and 40, respectively, and that the council are making compulsory purchase orders for the acquisition of sites in those areas to accommodate schemes which will fully satisfy those needs.
