Social Welfare (Insurance) Bill, 1950—Second Stage Discharged.

I move:—

That the Order of the day for the Second Stage of the Bill be discharged and that the Bill be withdrawn.

This seems to be an empty formality. We never saw the Bill.

Did the Deputy say an empty formula?

Mr. Lemass

We never saw this Bill. We do not know the inner history of this matter, but it will come out some time.

Mr. Norton
