Vol. 123 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Baltinglass Post Office.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether the premises which he approved as Baltinglass post office are part of premises licensed for the sale of liquor.

The post office is situated in a draper's shop and there is no connection with the licensed premises.

Can the Minister say if the door leading from the new post office premises into the bar has been effectively closed? Will it be possible in the new post office to purchase such things as stamps, delph, sugar, shirts and so on? I would like to ask the Minister also is it his intention to go down to Baltinglass——

That is a separate question.

Will the Minister state if this lady was born and reared in Scotland?

That does not arise.

Is it the policy of Fianna Fáil to approve of employing foreigners?

Have you not done enough putting the lady out of her job?

Is she not an Irish citizen and an Irish Catholic?
