Vol. 124 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ministers' Visits Abroad.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state in respect of each member of the Government and each Parliamentary Secretary the number of journeys undertaken by him abroad on or in connection with any business of the State since 18th February, 1948; further, if he will state in respect of each such journey its purpose, its duration, the place or places visited and the total cost thereof, including travelling, subsistence allowance and all other expenses.

Mr. Brady

asked the Minister for Finance if he will furnish particulars of journeys abroad for each Minister and Parliamentary Secretary so as to bring up to the latest available date the tabular statement given by him on 22nd February, 1950 (Volume 119, column 465).

I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle to take questions 38 and 39 together. The particulars requested are being compiled and I should be glad if the Deputies would repeat the questions in a week's time.
