Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Laoighis-Offaly Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state what progress has been made by the Land Commission with a view to the division of the lands of Colonel Bearcroft, at Bally-brittas, County Laoighis, and when it is proposed to divide these lands amongst the local people.

Possession of this estate was recently obtained and a scheme for its allotment is being prepared.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state what progress the Lands Commission have made recently with a view to the division of the whole of the estate of Lord Decies at Kinnitty, Birr, County Offaly, and when it is proposed to have these lands divided amongst the local deserving applicants.

The Land Commission have no proceedings for the acquisition of these lands.
