Vol. 125 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Mitchelstown Presentation Convent.

asked the Minister for Education if he will state when he will be in a position to give approval to the plans for the additional room for Mitchelstown Presentation Convent.

Plans for the proposed extension to Mitchelstown Convent National School, which had been submitted by the manager's architect were returned to the manager with certain recommendations for revision. The revised plans were received in the Department on 5th March last, and are at present being examined.

Pending the outcome of this examination, I am not in a position to say when approval may be given to the plans, but the Deputy may be assured that every effort will be made to have an early decision notified to the manager of the school in this matter.
