If the Deputy has in mind the provision of reserves to permit of a rapid expansion of the Dublin fire-fighting services should such be necessary for civil defence purposes, an appropriate question might be addressed to the Minister for Defence, who is the Minister responsible for civil defence matters. The question of a rapid expansion of the Dublin fire-fighting services for peacetime purposes does not appear to arise.
