Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Milk Deliveries to Creameries.

asked the Taoiseach if he will state how many gallons of milk were received by the creameries (a) during the first six months of 1951, and (b) during the same period in 1950.

The approximate total quantity of milk received by the creameries during the 25 weeks' period ended on the 25th June, 1951, the latest date up to which the information is available, was 73,937,000 gallons. The corresponding figure for the same period in 1950 was 90,342,000 gallons. The total quantity received by creameries during the 26 weeks' period ended on the 2nd July, 1950, was 98,829,000 gallons.
