Vol. 126 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sea Fisheries Association Boats.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state how many boats the Sea Fisheries Association have (a) on hands for allocation; (b) on order; in each of the following categories: (1) under 35 ft., (2) 35 ft. and under 50 ft., (3) 50 ft. and over.

The Irish Sea Fisheries Association has at present no boats on hands awaiting allocation. The association has on order only one boat in the category 35 ft.-50 ft. In addition it has on order seven boats in the category 50 ft. and over and is constructing four such boats in its own boatyards.

My congratulations to the Sea Fisheries Association.
