Vol. 127 No. 1

Questions— Written Answers. - Sanitary Accommodation in County Kildare Houses.

asked the Minister for Lands whether it is correct that the Land Commission are erecting and have recently erected houses in County Kildare without any sanitary accommodation and whether, prior to such erection, the local authority responsible for sanitary services was consulted; and, if so, whether the consent of such authority was obtained.

It is now the practice of the Land Commission to provide sanitary accommodation in such cases and it is proposed to continue that practice. A few houses recently erected are without sanitary accommodation, but inquiries are in progress as to the provision of sanitary facilities in these cases.
