The erection of the bridge referred to by the Deputy and the financing of the work are matters for the consideration of the Mayo County Council.
The responsible local authority have not so far submitted any concrete proposal regarding the erecting of this bridge that would enable my Department to indicate what financial assistance, if any, might be given to the project.
