I have been informed by Radio Éireann that "Question Time" was discontinued after a run of approximately 11 years in order to "rest" the feature itself and to make way for other programmes which could not be broadcast on Sunday evenings while "Question Time" blocked the peak listening hour of the week.
Radio Éireann does not intend to revive "Question Time" in its previous form but has arranged to introduce soon an adapted form under another title in conjunction with the Young Farmers' Clubs.
