Vol. 127 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Traders' Half-Holidays.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will grant exemption to traders in Mitchelstown for half-holidays on the same lines as granted to traders of the same category in Fermoy.

The provisions of the Shops (Hours of Trading) Act and the Orders made thereunder, regarding the closing of shops on the weekly half-holiday, apply equally in all areas. No special exemptions relating to the weekly half-holiday were granted to traders in Fermoy.
