Vol. 127 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Condition of Bog Road.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that there are upwards of 500 tons of privately-owned turf in the Mackey bog, at Castleconnell, County Limerick, which cannot be removed owing to the bad condition of the bog road, and, if so, if he proposes to have repairs carried out on this road to enable the owners of this turf to provide their winter fuel.

Schemes have already been sanctioned for the repair of a series of roads serving bogs in the townlands of Gooig, Cloon and Commons, Electoral Division of Castleconnell, County Limerick.

I assume that these schemes include the road referred to by the Deputy.
