Vol. 127 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Insurance of Land Commission Employees.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare whether it has been decided that workers employed by the Land Commission upon the building of houses at Duleek, County Meath, are exempted from the provisions of the Insurance (Intermittent Unemployment) Act, 1942; and, if so, the reason.

The answer to the Deputy's question is in the negative. A letter received on Saturday last in reference to some of these workers is, however, receiving attention. I shall inform the Deputy of the result of these inquiries as soon as possible.
