Vol. 127 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Daingean Development Association.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he has received a request from Daingean Town Development Association for his assistance in procuring an industry for the town to give local employment; and, if so, what he proposes to do by way of giving the association advice and assistance in its efforts to secure a suitable local industry.

There is no record in my Department of a request for assistance from Daingean Town Development Association.

Is the Minister aware that the secretary of Daingean Town Development Association read a formal acknowledgement of this from the Minister at the meeting last week?

I am told that there is no record in the Department.

I shall communicate with the Minister.
