Vol. 127 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ballyhooly Housing Scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the reason for the delay in proceeding with the Ballyhooly housing scheme (non-municipal); and further, if he will state if application for sanction was made to his Department and the date on which the scheme was sanctioned.

Lay-out and house plans for a ten-house scheme at Ballyhooly were approved on the 27th July, 1951. I have been informed by the local authority that the invitation of tenders for the scheme is awaiting the completion of the detailed contract documents and that their architect has been requested to complete these documents so that the scheme may be advertised for tenders as soon as possible.
