Vol. 127 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Laois Dispensary Residence.

Mr. O'Higgins

asked the Minister for Health whether he is aware that considerable inconvenience is caused to the people of Ballyroan, County Laoighis, by the delay in the erection of a residence for the dispensary doctor in that village; and, if so, what steps will be taken to have this residence erected without further delay.

The local authority were requested on the 25th February, 1950, to provide a dispensary residence in the Ballyroan Dispensary District and a number of sites have been considered since that time and have proved to be unsuitable. I understand that the local authority is at present making every effort to procure a suitable site.
