Vol. 128 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Shops' Trading Hours.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if, in view of the general depression in trade throughout the country, he will consider introducing proposals for legislation for the suspension of the Shops (Hours of Trading) Act, 1938.

I have already entered into consultations with interested parties on the need for a change in the hours of trading which have been fixed by law for shops.
