Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Army Hutments (County Cork).

asked the Minister for Defence if he is prepared to put Belmont hutments, Cobh, at the disposal of an industrialist anxious to start a factory in Cobh.

Because of military considerations Belmont hutments, Cobh, cannot be made available for industrial purposes.

asked the Minister for Defence if he is prepared to place the building erected during the emergency in the New Barracks, Fermoy, at the disposal of an industrialist anxious to start a factory in Fermoy.

Tenders are being invited for the lease for 99 years or less period, preferably for industrial purposes, of approximately two acres of the New Barracks, Fermoy, County Cork. The area includes the building referred to in the Deputy's question.
