The distribution of cigarettes and tobacco is not officially controlled. The case of ex-servicemen who sought supplies of cigarettes after demobilisation was brought to the notice of the tobacco manufacturers several years ago.
So far as the Government are concerned, they have given the fullest supplies of materials to the tobacco manufacturers.
