Vol. 129 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Atlantic Liners at Cobh.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if, in view of the great anxiety caused to the people in Cobh by the suggestion that there is a question of transferring passengers off Atlantic liners at Cobh to tenders which would take them direct to Cork, he will take steps to see that Cobh will not be by-passed in this manner.

I have no information in regard to this suggestion other than the references contained in a recent newspaper article. So far as I am aware there is no intention of giving effect to this suggestion.
